Clare Henn-Haase, PsyD
Project CoordinatorDr. Henn-Haase is a research psychologist at the San Francisco Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a Staff Psychologist at the University of California, San Francisco. As a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Henn-Haase worked at the Trauma Center in Boston under the direction of Bessel van der Kolk. While at the Trauma Center, Dr. Henn-Haase worked on a grant funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to work with children and families impacted by the events of September 11, 2001.
As Project Coordinator for the Police Stress and Health Program, Dr. Henn-Haase works closely with participating department administrators, union officials and training staff. In addition to coordinating and overseeing the smooth operation of both the New York and Bay Area sites, Dr. Henn-Haase manages all of the clinical interviewer and research assistant staff and conducts in-depth clinical interviews with active duty police officers and trainees.
